We work in the world of data, statistics and numbers. Not much is more boring than sets of data compiled for your reading pleasure. However, infographics are forever changing the way people like us supply data for people who read the data. Infographics are simply visual pictures that help you understand data. You’ve seen more and more of these. There are some great sites out there that chronicle stunning graphics that represent more complex data.

Here is a sample that we noticed recently:

Pfizer. This graphic shows in simple detail what a $2.3 billion fine really means to Pfizer relative to their revenue and profit from Viagra. We’re not trying to make a judgement here, our point is that the data can easily be lost without context and graphics, particularly these infographics show easily the context of the numbers presented.  This is the power of infographics and why we’re big, big fans of this.
