
Graphic designers today should be the new brand advocates. They should because what they develop allows a a company to develop their brand. It’s the essence of who they are.
Often times, the company knows what they want, but aren’t sure what they need.
This is where the graphic designer steps in. Shows what they need, how it can be carried out and why the design will do so.
This approach as “brand advocate” vs. “graphic designer” allows designers to sit at the strategy table with an organization instead of at the kid table titled, “vendor”.
