The Solavista Media Privacy Policy
It is Solavista Media’s policy to respect your privacy. We hate spam as much as you do, and we wouldn’t dream of giving any of your personal information to anyone outside the field of law enforcement. We’re also profoundly uninterested in the contents of your information, and would really only access it in order to respond to a technical or billing issue.
That’s the in-plain-English, unofficial version. Now officially speaking, Solavista Media will not disclose any of your personal information or access your account, except with your permission or unless Solavista Media has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to 1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; 2) protect and defend the rights or property of Solavista Media; 3) act to protect the interest of its members or others or 4) maintain and improve the service.
We may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on in Solavista Medialand, but can’t imagine that we’d do so more than once or twice a month. We’ll do our best to make these messages at least moderately amusing.
When you buy something from us or give us your e-mail address for correspondence, you give us what we need in order to process your order. We don’t ask for anything else. We don’t want to know how old you are, where you were born, what your favorite color is or whether you’re a girl or boy. At your discretion, you may contact us and let us know your favorite flavor of ice cream. We might even send you some.
We may elect to use cookies as part of our e-commerce improvement process. Furthermore, we use Google Analytics and/or Urchin as well as other analytics tools from time to time to collect information about the types of browsers coming to our site, and those web analytics programs may use cookies. If this all scares you as much as the CIA’s involvement in JFK’s assassination, we beg you to take your business elsewhere. No harm, no foul we’ll just part friends.
Solavista Media reserves the right to change this policy without prior notification.
Man, do we sound official.
